I'm with you ladies -- I have never and would never wear them. Just not a fan. I'm also not a PJs outside the house person, and I prefer to wear actual clothes hanging out at home too. Somehow wearing yoga pants makes me forget that snacking might make me not fit into my jeans anymore (yes, I have no self control haha)

i have one from NY&Co and i LOVE it. it's my go to outfit when i just have to run out and do errands and dont feel like putting on jeans.

I don't wear them. To me, they're the cliche of the SAHM who has let herself go and basically wears pajamas to do errands. I remember being at Gymboree when my older DS was a baby and most of the moms were in velour. Being a SAHM myself, I like to defy the stereotype a little  so I stick to nice jeans and leggings.

I used to love my Juicy suits, but last time I wore one (to the airport) my little sister definitely made fun of me for it.
Same here! Totally got made fun of. And I LOOOOOOOOVED my Juicy velour.

i sleep in the pants.
that is about all i do in them. i dont wear them out.
i always put on at least jeans if i go out.
personal preference though.

On that note, I do wear them and I wear them proudly. Its I was never one to follow fashion trends anyway.

I ONLY wore them when I was 19, super skinny and at at my hottest but i do get what you're saying

Mine don't currently fit me well, but I do wear them around the house, or when just quickly running out. I like being comfy. I tend to wear black or gray though, not my purple one anymore.

Honestly I think that looks pretty damn sexy.
And leggings can also be a cliche of someone who let themself go- stretchy pants with no waist band.
So that can be said about a lot of clothes- even the SUPER trendy leggings/yoga pants.

Yep. I agree. Nice for hanging around but I wouldn't wear that outside.

I'm a little confused, you asked for opinions, and computergirl gave hers like we all did. She even said she is a SAHM herself, so I don't think she meant to bash SAHM's. As i state above, I only wear velour sweatsuits for sleeping, and I'm actually pretty hot myself! My opinion is that they are not appropriate for outdoor wear, but that is MY opinion. I was asking for opinions yes.
For the record- I don't wear mine anymore because I thought they were out of style
But then I saw that one in VS and thought- wow it looks kind of nice- but still not sure if it's considered a fashion no no- so I figured I'd ask.
For the record as well- I decided to not buy it...it's not cheap and if I feel werid wearing it out it won't be worth it- to wear around the house I can get something cheaper.
The only reason I made that comment was because I felt her comment was a bit harsh. And I am not even a SAHM.
I felt it could be insulting to people who wore the sweatsuits (Several on this thread said they still do) and to SAHM's in general
So I wanted to point out that it could still look hot and that it's not just for frumpy SAHM's as she seemed to think.

I don't have any, but I think they are cute.
I do not con notate them with a SAHM that let themself go. I see all types of people wearing them - some that looks like they rolled out of bed, and some totally dolled up. IMO, its more about how well they fit and how people wear them.

I used to wear them back in the day but I actually just bought a new one last month. It's good for around the house or running errands and its a nice looking outfit rather than raggy old sweats

Ditto! but i am one of those people who runs to 7-11 or dunkin donuts in the AM for coffee in my PJ pants! And I hate when my aunt wears them with dress shoes! ugh! they are sweat pants for goodness sakes!

I never liked them, but they definitely were in style a few years back. They were everywhere. Are they back like that? No.
Is Victoria's Secret behind the times? No. I think they are selling it as lounge wear, since, although they sell clothes, they are primarily an undies & pjs store.

ITA. People still wear them but I definitely don't see it EVERYWHERE like I did before.
huge cringe worthy pet peeve of mine is an old woman with too much makeup in a velour suit with "JUICY" across her bottom. 
Same for preteens. I just think it's icky.

Yay! Yay! Yay! I LOVE my VS velour jumpsuits. I have a tone of them. They wash great, colors are vibrant, and VERY comfy.
how do they run? i want to order some; i have a juicy but they are always so weird fitting on me. im between a large and x large in juicy...
