Are we allowed to get pedicures?
I heard something about pressure points on your feet...is it safe if I get a pedicure and they massage my feet or should I just ask them not to massage? Thanks

i have been getting them basically every 2 weeks or so since the very beginning. They are very relaxing especially when your legs/feet are sore.

I got them throughout (massage and all). My feet were just hurting from the weight and pressure so the pedi's were a godsend for me!

I've been getting them but I read somewhere about them not banging on your legs and something about massaging your ankles. I got one of those long oil 10 minute massages 2 weeks ago and e/t is fine. Enjoy!

Yes I think its safe, I did it the whole time. At the end, when I was ready to have her, I actually paid EXTRA to get a really long massage and it didnt do anything to bring on labor (I was disappointed LOL)

I read the whole thing about bringing on early labor with a pedicure. I went for one once and maybe just coincidently I felt some cramping ( I was only like 20 something weeks). I called the dr. in a panic and she said she never heard of the pedicure thing. I was fine and it never happened again. I enjoyed many more pedis throughout my pregnancy.

Yes I would just bring my own metal instruments and def have a box of your own filing stuff. My place has boxes for each client.

My DR told me that this "wives tale" was not true.... he followed it up with... "see all those 40 something weeks pregnant ladies in the waiting room..... dont you think they'd all be rubbing their feet???"....
I got them throughout my pregnancy...
