I like hosting parties....but not formal sit down dinner parties. I like informal parties when I make bite sized food and everyone grabs at stuff.
Same here. I don't really enjoy cooking, and cooking for people other than DH totally intimidates me.
I love attending them though!

I love dinner parties. I like them to be casual though. DH is the cook and I mingle and make sure everyone is OK. I also like to go to other's houses too.

nope, I hate having people over my house. i don't mind attending, but I would much rather go to a restaurant.
When I go to a dinner party at someone's house, I never know when it is OK to leave. At least with a restaurant, you can sit and chat and if you are really enjoying the company, you can get coffee and desert and maybe even go somewhere afterwards. but, if it is getting boring, you can skip desert and just go home.

I'm not a fan of formal dinner parties. I am all for completely casual dinners with friends.
Same here. In fact, I'm seriously considering turning the dining room into a playroom because we've never had a "sitdown" party or holiday.
