Are you a spender or a saver?
I am a little of both. I love saving money and watching it add up, but money also burns a hole in my pocket. I already have plans for some of my grad $$.

But when we do spend, it is a lot of $$$ at a time.

SAVER $$$$$$$$ because I was raised by a single Dad who was on strike three times for 6 months or more. Savings=security to me.
When I was a teenager I worked about 20 hours a week and NEVER cashed my paycheck at work. I would just hand my Dad a month's worth of paychecks to deposit for me (before ATMS) and spent about $10 a week, that's it.
I also called the Sallie Mae people 5 months before I was due to start paying my college loans because I wanted to start payments right away. I quadrupled my payment every month and paid off my loan in 2.25 years instead of ten savings thousands of $$$$.

DH & I are both savers. Although it's easy to spend on stuff for Sarah. It's all so cute!

I wish I could save better. I do better when I just automatically have money saved in an account. Once I see the cash or a check, it's like "putting it in the account will get me nothing right now...i could just take it to the mall and buy something" haha

We don't spend excessively, and try to save, but when it comes to small purchases, we have trouble delaying gratification.

Same here.
I keep wanting to save to get something then when I see something else in the store I gotta have it because I think the store wont have it next time or I'll never find that item again.

i'm the same way. DH too. if i had to classify us, i'd say we're more towards saving than spending.
