Are you and DH on the same page re: # of children
Do you and your DH agree on how many children you want in your family?
If not, how are you managing that difference? There really isn't a comprimise. Either you have a baby or you don't LOL.

Well DH and I were originally on the same page, we wanted to have a ton of kids and have them close in age, but now I'm starting to re-think our original number and space between them.
When you start to have more than 1 you need to think about living space, type of car/truck you own, and especially finances.
Right now we've agreed to enjoy DD as much as possible and give ourselves about 2 years to see where we are at in our lives and if having more would be a good decision.

Nope...I want one more (it would be our third) and he says he's done. Right now my 2 are 2 years and 9 months so I am going to ask when my 2 year old is out of his terrible 2 and 3 age. He is still adjusting to 2 under 2 . If then he doesn't want any more then I guess I will have to deal with it but it will be very hard because I really really want another.

Sort of. I would really like a 3rd child. He'd be happy stopping at 2. So he said when our older one starts kindergarten we'll talk about it - he thinks I'll feel too old to go back to diapers and bottles again. Silly boy!
We've also talked about adopting an older child, so I think that we'll probably investigate that further at that time.

yes we discussed it before we got married and still agree on the number.
DH would be fine with just 1 if that was the case but is OK with another one. Actually more than OK.
1 would be OK but I would prefer 2.
We are still on the same plan. I would like to TTC this fall. That was the plan. DH would prefer postponning another year. I am not sure I can wait.

Yes, we always wanted more than 2 children. I wanted 3, he wanted 4 and now that I'm pregnant with #3, I def want #4. Heck, who knows, even #5. Let's see how I feel after this one! lol

I think so...we are pregnant with #2 now and he's already talking about another next year (he's clearly delirious)...but we definitely know that we would like to have 4+ (he's more toward the + than I am!)

DH and I have always been on the same page...although that page has changed several times.
Originally neither one of us wanted any more kids...I had 3 and he had 2 when we met..Then we figured out that we wanted to have one of our own so we had DS. I would of had another one with DH buy he wasnt buying it. So I guess that Im done...Im OK with that decision. I even had my tubes tied..but it would have been nice to have one more...
DH said 7 was freaky!!!!

Right now I am pregnant with #2. I would love a 3rd but we will have to see. If this is another boy, it might be easier to convince DH to go for #3. He is looking at the financial aspects of having 3, not the familial aspects (if that makes any sense).

ds is an ivf baby. we're fortunate to have our son. but wouldn't mind having another. ivf's are always sucessful. so, if our next ivf (and last because we dont' have enough eggs for an additional transfer) is a miss then it's only going to be a one kid household.

We are both on the fence about number 3.
This is us too.
When we first started dating, he wanted NO children. After we had Robbie we both wanted 4. After Noah we both figured we were finished. Now we both kind of want a 3rd but we are on the fence for different reasons. He is all about the money being the major issue - he isn't sold on the fact that a family of 3 is a responsible step with the economy being the way it is. My issues are more about the fact that I am finally starting to achieve a small modicum of freedom with my kids being a little older so I am not certain I want to do the whole infant scenario again.

No we are definitely not on the same page. I want two. I am pregnant with number two and DH is already making plans for number 3. It makes me so mad when he does that b/c its not him who has to have the babies. I told him that he would have to give me a trip to Japan if he wants number 3.
After this one though I am done for atleast 2-3 years. In any event it is really my choice.

I would really want a 3rd, DH isn't so sure. If we had a son next I think he'd be done, I'd really like a 3rd regardless. (Yet age--mine--is also a factor).

I have the number 4 in my head....Leo has 2...maybe 3 in his.
His argument makes sense though...he feels that with every kid that comes, he gets less and less of me.
