Are you close with your Siblings?? Or your DH siblings??

Just wondering if everyone is close or not so close with the siblings?? I am very close with my brothers but my husband side one sister I am one brother not really!!

I'm very close to my brother and his girlfriend and also very close with DH's brother (he's like my own brother to me) and SIL (we're really good "friends", as close as friends could be without being exactly like a sister, maybe one day though!) If that makes sense.

My sister and I are extremly close...but I love my SIL and BIL very much...I would do anything for them.

I'm close with both of my siblings, but more my sister than my brother.

Dh is close with both of his brothers.

My sister is my best friend. DH and his brother are just as close
I am also very close with both BILs (sis's hubby and DH's brother)

My brother and I are really close, and we are both really close with my mom. Neither of us are that close to my dad.

I'm not close with MIL or FIL. Used to be closer to BIL, but his last girlfriend and I didn't get along (she thought he had money and was with him for that which really bothered me), and we've never really gotten back to where we were.

DH isn't close with my parents or my brother. He likes them and all, but I can't see him confiding in them. He isn't at all close with his parents. Sort of with his brother. They talk about once a week.

Yes and no. My brother and I have been through a lot in life but we are very different people. He can be very passive aggressive and definitely has issues. I know he will always have my back and I will always have his but he has caused a lot of drama.

Both of my SIL's live out of state and are very busy working mom's. I'm not that close with them because we really have no time to talk.

extremly close with my only sister. not close to my dh's siblings at all, but thats a long story.

I am anot close to brother. ALthough he would do anything for me a vis versa we dont talk to often

My sister is my best friend.

I have 3 stepsiblings and we are all very close as well.

I also have a half brother...hes 9 so I am as close as I can possibly be to a 9 year old!

I am also very close to my BIL and SIL.

My sister and i are completely opposite. We have nothing in common. So there is this big gap.

I am very close with my brother, yes. And I am very close to one of DH's sisters, and somewhat close to another.

DH and his brother barely talk....theres no fight or anything they just see each other at holidays and never really talk any other time of year and they don't even live far away.


I am close enough to my brothers, hang socially at times but they are 9, 10 and 11 years older then me so it's kinda hard to relate. When I was learning my A,B,C's they were doing calculus! But I am close to my one sister in law and often hang out with her and my brother

My sister is my absolute best friend. We are less than two years apart and got married two months apart and it was the best experience we've ever been through together. Now if I could only get her to have a baby soon so we can b itch about that together

As for JT's sister...I am not close with her, however, we get along very well and I like her a lot. She's a little weird, but I do like her and get along with her.

My sister and I are very close. Assuming I give birth on time, our daughters will be 10 months apart. We hope they will be close too.

I am close to his wife, my SIL as well.. she was my Matron of Honor

DH is very close to both his brothers, they are great friends. We're both close to one of their wives (SIL) she is great, though I don't see her very often. The other SIL, well she's more than a tad crazy... yet oddly enough we do get along (luckily she lives out of state, I only see her a couple times a year..)

Oh and DH and my brother are super cool too

I'm extremely close with my sister (I only have one). DH has 3 sisters, two of which don't live in NY. I'm closer with the one that lives in NY but we're all kind of close.

I'm pretty close to all 5 of my siblings. Though sometimes they can drive me to drink.

My brother and I are very close, he was never the SUPER protective brother we were more like good friends, don't get me wrong he was protective but not in a crazy big brother way. We're very close and I love it!

I'm also close with my two SIL's. I actually knew them before I knew my DH and have gotten even closer in the past 8+ yrs. Its like having sisters I never had. (I'm just saying this b/c they post here) lol

I'm not super close with my brother, but we're close with DH's siblings. DH's brother is in med school in CA so we don't see him that often, but we talk sometimes on the phone and get along well when he visits. I adore DH's sister and youngest brother. We hang out a lot with DH's sister and her boyfriend. They're seniors in college and it's so cute how they ask us for advice on career paths, etc. Even though there's a pretty big age gap, when we hang out, I don't really feel like they're younger than us.

my sister and i are OPPISITE but i think we haev agreed to diagaree over the years. i a m not particularly close with my bil and sil i talk to them when i see them but its not teh type of thing where i would call then up to say hi

I am very close with my brother and DH is very close with 2 out of 3 of his siblings- I am close with them too.
