Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
We live in a 2 bedroom apt in Manhattan with DS#1 now. It is going to be crowded with #2 arriving next month.
Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper? If so, are you also getting a pack n play, swing, and bouncer?
We already have all the other stuff. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
I had this for my DD who is now 7 months...she slept in this day and night until she was 3 - 4 mos old. It is my can't live without baby item...GET IT! We also had a swing, pack and play but in other rooms of the house. This we also took with us anywhere we went b/c it folds so nicely - took it to friends for dinner, if we did a sleepover at my parents house...it went everywhere with us. Washes nicely too!
ETA: since DD was used to sleeping in this...it has an incline. I was so worried about moving her to her crib - would she not like sleeping so flat all of a sudden. I transitioned her to the pack and play in my room first...then the crib. But IMO you don't need pack n play...i had it so i used it.

Re: Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
I have one for DS #1 and plan on using it for DC#2 even though now we live in a much bigger house than when DS was born. It is perfect to keep next to you and the rocking aspect is invaluable.
The only thing i will caution is to watch for flat spots. we didn't have much of an issue with Ds but when I starting noticing a bit of it I just used it with a Nest Noggin and it worked beautifully.
I HIGHLY reccomend it for every new mom.
ETA...I did have a pack-n-play for Ds but I really only used it for it's changing table. DS hated the bassinet part. For DC#2 I doubt I will use it at all. We alsoe had a swing and DS wasn't a fan either.., likewise we had a boucy seat and he didn't like that either.

I got one for each twin. This way I don't have to worry about 2 pack n plays in my bedroom.

Re: Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
GET TI!
honestly, the best part is folding it up and taking it WHEREVER! instant sleeper wherever you are.
out at a BBQ? no problem, open it up and put baby down for a nap. Dinner at mom and dad's? Perfect place for baby to sleep/nap.
I would have been lost without that thing. Also, weight limit is 25 lbs!!!

We got it instead of a bassinet and pack n play. She has the crib, a swing and the rock n play. I think at some point it gets to be overkill.

Re: Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
I want it. I'm not sure about the PnP, but my parents live in another state so that might be nice to take to travel with especially when the outgrow the rocker. I won't get the PnP with the bassinet.

Re: Are you getting the FP Newborn Rocker Sleeper?
I'm not getting this, it's just not practical for us (for sleeping at least). We have a big dog that would really be in the baby's face if we kept this in our room on the floor while we sleep. We just got a regular bassinet (are borrowing), a swing, and a bouncy seat.
I think the only place we would use it is maybe at my parents house, but then again, the dog is usually with us. My mom already has a pack and play so we just didn't register for this.
