Are you sending a gift for teacher appreciation week?
I wasn't sure if I should send something in. I didn't do anything last year. The school has a big sign stating that it is teacher appreciation week.
Classes end in a few weeks. I was already planning to give all the teachers end of school year gifts.

I do, but I'm a teacher (if that makes any difference). I do something small (plastic cold drink cup filled with scratch offs) for this and a bigger gift at the end of the year.

Re: Are you sending a gift for teacher appreciation week?
I did for DD's kindergarten teacher - she picked something out for her at the M & M store and we got her a Barnes and Noble gift card to go with it. But she is an exceptional teacher and goes out of her way for DD.
For my other DD's nursery school, all the parents gave in money and the school is doing a lunch for them. I may get them small Dunkin Donut or Barnes and Noble gift cards too. Not sure....

They put it on the school calendar this year but, I'm usually the only one in the school that does something so I haev stopped and just give something when the boys move up to the next class, Valentines and Christmas.

Same.
Also, money is tight so I keep it simple.
This year was a HUGE hit. DS is 3 so he drew a picture for both of his teachers. Then at dinner I put my phone on record and we talked about his teachers. I asked him what he liked about each teacher and then later wrote what he said on his picture. We did that with a small gift card & some stickers (since they have to buy their own & he comes home with a sheet of stickers EVERY day).
He gave them their gifts & they both were almost in tears.

Re: Are you sending a gift for teacher appreciation week?
AJ painted her a picture of a flower and a X ------- o type map around it. I asked why and she said "We are her (the o) and this is all the way over to my heart (the X) and that's where Ms XXX is" so it sounded good enough for me! It has three birds, one with an orange face that is sad because "He misses me, but he's going with Ms XXX"
Swear this kid and her art thoughts!
We are making tissue paper flowers tonight I think. We have a weekly thing but I'm no longer a fan so I didn't participate at all. They are using our platform from last year.. Monday apple, Tuesday Flowers, Wednesday is sit back and relax, Thursday "Our teachers are sweet" and Friday is "I appreciate you"
meh
Flowers tomorrow and maybe candy on Friday
