Are you supposed to buy a mattress for the Pack n Play?
I'm ordering sheets on Amazon for my Graco Pack n Play and the reviews are saying it fits a 3 inch mattress. All I ever used with DD is the "mattress" (basically a fold-up board with some quilting on it) that it came with. I did think it seemed sorta uncomfortable but I didn't know there was anything else to buy.
Are you supposed to buy a separate mattress?

I only did because DD slept in it as her bed for her first 9 months. You don't need one though!

I didnt buy one for ds because I didnt know........ got one for dd and I think she likes it alot more.....
amazon sells them - its like $35 shipped.

My son is still sleeping in his PNP at 9 months (we're buying a crib soon) and we don't have a mattress for it. Just what it came with an it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

You don't need one but I think it makes a little bit more comfy. I got this one from walmart.
