argh... computer repair while on maternity leave
 sometimes it's sooo hard to get something done while on maternity leave 
so I love my vaio... I've had it for 2 years w/o a problem... then, several months ago, something went wrong... (I have a toggle switch to turn on/off my wireless internet.... the switch is broken, and my internet is always shutting off  )
so, I decided to get it fixed while I'm on maternity leave... I called up sony... no one can find my waranty info. they kept making me call different 1-800 #s. It literally took 2 hours and 15 min to arrange for the repair
in the interim, my cellphone battery dies and I'm now tethered to my short charging cord and Eryk gets hungry and I have to try to feed him while they ask me for the hundreth time to flip my laptop and read off the serial #
poor eryk... formula was flying and he began to cry when I got angry becuase the just told me to call a 10th 1-800 #....
He knew to keep his distance from mommy, though  he just fell asleep and left me alone to deal with the sony folk.....

I've had the SAME issues with benefits stuff!! Every time I have to call them it takes twice as long as I planned and the baby wakes up mid-call, so I have to put them on speaker while I feed him!!! Hope your computer gets fixed soon though!!

after a horrible repair experience with my last laptop (a gateway), I bought the best warranty available (on-site repair with accident coverage... in case I spill a coffee  )
so the GOOD news is that they will come to me and fix it at home once the part comes in... It was just so annoying to get the run-around like that... they could hear my baby crying in the background! why couldn't they get their poop together sooner???!

My pc just died so I'm on the market, I'll look into the vaio with that warranty!
My current customer service is out of New Delhi or somewhere so I don't think they hear  !!
