Arthritis
I can't take it anymore. I feel like I am 90 years old!!
My joints hurt me ALL the time now, not just when I wake up in the morning. I know its from the swelling but it hurts to walk because my feet/toes hurt, I can't squeeze toothpaste onto my toothbrush without difficulty, and also trying to squeeze A &D onto my toddler when changing his diaper hurts! My hands are the worst, but its my feet, ankles, knees, wrists, hips..
Anyone else have this?

Re: Arthritis
I feel your pain!
My fingers have been so achy lately. When I make a fist, they are soooo sore. It is especially bad when I wake up at night for some reason.
And getting up to go to the bathroom, my feet KILL me. Toes, bottoms of my feet. I can't imagine what it would be like if I weren't able to work from home!
I think my fingers are worse because I am doing so much typing all day long. I am just hoping that after this baby comes the pain in my joints goes away! Hang in there!

Re: Arthritis
Well if your joints are swelling they can give you a small dose of prednisone. It is safe in pregnancy and the smallest amts cross the pl;acenta. When I TTC again, I will be on 10 mg because of immune issues

I could have written this word for word. Waking up in the am or getting up in the middle of the night is THE WORST. I think its because I am not moving my hands alot and they become so stiff. I also work from home and type alot- I don't think I would be able to make it if I had to get up early every morning and commute.
Luckily, I had this with my first and it did go away after a few weeks after giving birth.. but I never had it this bad. I guess its because of the heat and humidity- I gave birth the first time in January.

thanks for your response. I will ask my Dr about this when I see him next. It is getting worse each day.

Re: Arthritis
I feel exactly the same way, it takes almost all day for the stiffness and pain to go away from my fingers.
When I get out of bed I can't open the bedroom door because I can't grip the doorknob. We try to leave the door slightly ajar but if it's closed I have to wake up DH to let me out.

Well, you have given me hope... that it will most likely go away after the baby comes! I go to the doctor in an hour so I am going to ask them about it again.. just to make sure everything is OK!

Re: Arthritis
I've had arthritis since I was 13. Last night was so bad I could not sleep. My legs hurt the most and now that I'm getting bigger my tailbone aches all the time.
This weather is horrible...the humidity is making it worse. When I am not pregnant I take Alleve.
