Arts and Crafts for a 2yr old?
So, my BF's daughter is turning 2 this Thursday, and when I asked for suggestions on what to get her, she said that her daughter is really into artsy type stuff.
What kind of arts and crafts kits can I buy in the store that are good for a 2yr old?

Finger paint, glue sticks, peel n stick foam projects, construction paper, safety scissors.

we do a lot of finger paints, water color paints...and need lots of plain paper for that. We do sponge letters with paint. The foam stick on's and just pictures with a glue stick.
You can out together a small bag of stuff like that.

You can even try Michaels or AC Moore.

construction paper
water color paint and paint brushes (different sizes and shapes)
paint palate
artist journal
portable easil
sponges
glitter markers (some parents may not want that)
color wonder markers and paper (these crayola markers only work on special paper)
crayons
washable markers
glue sticks
elmers glue
colorful puff balls
colorful pipe cleaners
chalk
