Parking is not great, but there is street parking if you are willing to walk a few blocks.
It gets crowded quickly so I suggest getting there early.
It really is a lot of fun!

Absolutely! (On leash, but some people disregard that) Mine's staying HOME she might freak out with the noise 
Regarding parking, there is a smallish lot over there, as pp said it will probably fill up though. Street parking is ample though!

awwww, i used to live so close to Astoria Park when DH and i started dating. Wish I could convince him to take a ride there tonight for nostalgic reasons.
