At 28 weeks and 6 days
My little man decided he was going to enter the world.
I don't post often, but we could really use some extra prayers right now.
Quick birth story -
Tuesday night at about 8pm, I was out for dinner and felt like I had to pee.
I went to the bathroom and barely went at all. And 5 minutes later, felt like I had to go again. I drove home and the whole way home, I was getting pains that came and went every few minutes. At 930 I called the doctor and he sent me to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital at 1030, I was fully dilated. At 1045 they said the I was "bulging" and the baby was butt first and that they were going to do a emerg c-section. They wheeled me into the OR and before I could move from the stretcher to the operating table, I told them baby was coming. And he did. At 1105pm baby came. There was no time for anestethia or any other prep. He was transferred to Stony Brook and is now in the NICU.
I was discharged from St Catherine's the next day. Baby is breathing on his own with no respiratory support which is phenonmenal for a baby his age. He weighed in at 2lbs, 14.7 ounces and has a long road ahead of him.
He will probably be spending the next 2 months in the NICU. Please say an extra prayer for our baby boy.

awww so many for your little man. he has great doctors caring for him, i am sure he will be ok. what a great sign that he's already breathing on his own. praying for him and for you and your hubby.

Tons and tons of prayers!!
That is amazing that he is breathing on his own!!! He's a real fighter, and it sounds like he will make incredible progress!
