At home birthday parties start time??
Hello ladies! What time do you usually start your child's birthday party at your house?

About 2pm. Usually good with nap time and gives enough time in the morning to get ready.

Re: At home birthday parties start time??
I did mine 12-2 andit was great. Just 6 kids in total. We played for about 15 minutes in the basement, then had pizza for lunch, then a dinasaur egg hunt, pinata, then the cake/presents, and it was time to go home. They had a blast!

Re: At home birthday parties start time??
I usually do a 3:30ish or 4:00 start time. It gives plenty of time for an afternoon nap and I can usually get my DD in bed by her regular bed time.

At home birthday parties start time??
I was going to do my twins 2nd birthday from 2-5 and serve pizza. Is this a good idea or should I just do party/cake? I am not sure many kids at 1 1/2-2 yrs that will be coming to party eat cake. Last year we served pizza and had like 6 extra pizzas.

At home birthday parties start time??
I just had my DD's birthday in our yard and it was from 2-6pm. Most of the people with kids started leaving right after cake around 5:30.

Re: At home birthday parties start time??
we recently did my ds, and we started at 2, and tried to have cake served by 5/6 so that those with little ones could leave if they so desired and the older ones could stay and hang out for a while..
