Nope. I actually don't get service in my gym. But if I did, I still wouldn't. I do carry my phone with me because of my DD.

Never. If I have to make a call I do it quickly in the locker room. I would hate to be one of those people yapping on the phone...its just rude!

Never. There is no way to work hard enough and carry on a conversation at the same time. The basic measure of the right amount of exertion is not being able to say a complete sentence without taking a breath!

never, i usually leave it in the car - i cant stand when people are on the tredmill talking at the top of their lungs. you cant be focused on your workout if your on the phone...

I noticed this last week. One woman on the phone (with earbuds) and a mic having a conversation and then she got off and continue to have another conversation with someone who was not working out camping out by the equipment.
Yes, she was in full make up and push up bra.

I commented in another post that I don't go to the gym anymore (I go to a yoga studio), however, I have seen women bring their cell phone into the yoga room and text. I think it is totally rude and defeats the purpose of why you are at the class in the first place.
One class I was at someone's phone rang and the teacher took it away from her, and gave it back to her when the class was over. She also lectured her and I think the woman ended up totally embarassed.

absolutely not! its rude to other people... my gym actually has a no cell phone policy and designated areas where you can use it... BUT people still chat away in the weight room and its just annoying.

I have in the locker room. But that's the ONLY place in the gym I'd use my phone. I was in a class yesterday and some woman was actually sitting on the floor in the middle of class on the phone. I wanted to beat her with my free weight

No I bring my phone w/me but have it on vibrate. I text only if I NEED to speak to someone. It drives me crazy if I am on the treadmill & someone is yapping away on their phone or even w/another person (I know that cant be helped). I hate having my ipod on while working out.

Never! I hate when people do this. Unless you are the president or waiting for a life or death phone call, there is no reason you cant live w/out your cell phone for more than an hour or two. Drives me nuts!

I bring it b/c I listen to music on it sometimes, but I dont talk on it. No one ever calls me anyway. Everyone texts and those can wait. I'm not coordinated to be on the eliptical and talk on the phone at the same time.

no way! i dont do it because it bothers me when other people around me are having LOUD conversations. if i need to make a call i'll go to the locker room for a quick minute or just send a text.
