In the winter the OB said 6 weeks... I think I waited 2?? In the summer they said 4-6 weeks I waited 10 days

I waited 3 months to go to the mall. But we were out for walks and quick store trips at a few weeks.

I went out for walks outside and quick trips to CVS at about 4 weeks I think and the doctor said out in public was okay after 8 weeks because that's when their bodies start producing antibodies and immunities of their own.

2 months to go out in public but only 4 days to go outside for walks.

They never told me. It was up to what I felt comfortable with which was about 2-3 weeks we were in Kmart

My ped didn't say but DS was out with my at a week old. I never asked I just was careful to keep him away from crowds of people or anyone that was sick

I had to get out of the house so I took DD out at 2 weeks (as soon as the doc said I could drive after my c-section). I made sure she was covered and no one touched her, but we went all over the place.

My pediatrician said that some people like to wait until the first round of shots but that I could use my discression.
We were out at around 3 weeks -- our first trip was to AC Moore to pick up some craft supplies for Mommy.
Once I had her out that time we went out a lot to many different places. We just avoided old ladies who like to touch little babies

She told me it was okay at his 1 week appt, she said just keep him away from sick people and dont let people touch him too much!
