At what age did you/could you start using blankets in the crib??
i am just curious as my son loves to snuggle up in them when i am rocking him or he is in his swing. Also when did you introduce a pillow??

Re: At what age did you/could you start using blankets in the crib??
Ava is 14 months and I still do not give her a blanket or a pillow. I get scared that she will get tangled in the blanket or will use the pillow to stand on and climb out of the crib. I'd say that after a year, you could probably use a blanket, but I'm personally waiting until she's in a bed to use a pillow. I put her in a sleep sack in the winter. This way she technically is wearing her blanket without me worrying about her getting tangled. HTH

I think we're going to wait until at least a year although he uses one at day care and when my mom puts him to sleep.
Pillow, I don't know when...

Andrew has slept with a blanket since he was 12 months old. Maybe even younger.

Re: At what age did you/could you start using blankets in the crib??
I will probably use the sleepsak for a long time at night. I love them and it gives me piece of mind. However, for naps I usually throw a blanket on her and I gave daycare a blanket too.
She has little decorative pillows in her crib and sometimes she will sleep on them. Not sure if that counts.
DD is 9 months.

We've been using a very light blanket since he was about 6 months old.

I've had a blanket in the crib with them since they were born. It's a crocheted one. I recently started giving her a small, airline sized pillow around 1 year old.

I wont give her a pillow until she is in her toddler bed...
we started putting a blanket in with her at about 11 mths. in the winter though, we used the sleep sacks - those things are the greatest!!
