At what age did you give DC blanket in their crib?
Curious now that the nights are getting cooler.

She has one now, but its muslin and breathable. ETA: 8mos

DD has had a blanket since the beginning pretty much and she is 8 1/2 months now. I tuck it underneath her under her arms so she can't pull it over herself and usually by morning she has kicked it off anyway. Her room gets cold and since the weather is changing I want to make sure she is warm.

DD is almost 16 months, and I still use a sleep sack with her at home, but she uses a blanket at day care and at MIL's, and has pretty much since the beginning. I prefer a sleep sack at night because she's such an active sleeper, and this way I know it stays on her. I'll be getting one last sleep sack, with the foot holes, for the winter, and will switch to a blanket once it warms up.

All of my kids have had a blanket since day 1. Depending on the season depended on if it was just a light receiving blanket or a fleece one.

1 year but it never stayed on him. He moved all over the crib anyway.

I voted 12-18 months, but DD hates blankets - she is almost 2 1/2 and she refuses to use one.

same here. Now it is hard for DS to fall asleep w/o his favorite fleece blanket.

Same. but i feel better knowing that he falls asleep with one, i go in at least once a night and cover him again, and in the morning, he'll try to pull it over him.

DD is 17 months and still uses a sleepsack. I can't imagine her actually keeping a blanket on.

DD is 16m and in a sleepsack.
If I feel it's cool, she wears a onesie, fleece PJs, and a fleece sleepsack.

Since day 1 my ds has slept with an Aden and Anais swaddle blanket. It is breathable. He used to fall asleep with it on his face. It is very safe .

Ummmm....is it bad that my twins are almost 3 and they still don't use a blanket in their cribs?  I dress them warm though when it's cold.
