DC age and Crib Level Question?
Hi ladies - first time mom with no clue here so forgive me if this is a stupid q. My crib has four levels - if DS is 4.5 mos what level should it be at? I put it at the second level down so one level below the "newborn" level but there really isn't much of a difference. The crib does not come with any guidelines as to what ages to move it...i called the store and they asked if this was my first child and told me i could prob find the answer in a baby book
TIA

Re: DC age and Crib Level Question?
DS rolls so the crib is set a the 2nd setting. I lowered from the 1st setting I used when he was a NB.
I will lower to a lower setting when DS will be able to stand.

Re: DC age and Crib Level Question?
It's not based on age, but "ability". Like AP mentioned, lower it when they get to the next stage. Crawling, standing, climbing.

Re: DC age and Crib Level Question?
DS is just 8 mos old. His crib is at the second to lowest level, b/c he has started pulling himself up using the bumpers, railings and he was using the rainforest music thingie, until we took it out!
