At what age did you move DC from the infant car seat to the Convertible Car Seat that stays in the car?
DD is almost 6 months and we are thinking of moving her to the Britax convertible seat. Do you think she's too young?

I didn't move my DD until she was almost at the limits of the seat at 9 months. She was still @ 1/2 inch from the height limit at that point - but I was able to take advantage of National Car Seat Safety and have the convertible seat professionally installed.

DD-not yet, but plan on doing it right after Thanksgiving.

DD1 at 9 months (she's a little pixie so the weight of the carrier didn't matter much). DD2 is much heavier and the thing weighs so much! I'm not ready to move her out of it b/c she still sleeps in it. I'll see.

it was so much easier with the infant seat- i regret not getting one with a higher weight/height limit

We did it at 12 1/2 months. i loved my infant seat and snap and go and did not want to let go.

We did it at about 4.5 months. Mostly because, our sitter had an infant seat (i forget which one) that was smaller than our graco sunride 35, and DD was getting too big. So, we gave the sitter the snugride and started using the convertible. But, DD is 7 months (about 22lbs and still uses the Snugride with the sitter.
