DS was around 4mths, it took him 2 weeks to adjust. I think the older they are the harder is gets.

At about 6 weeks I had to PRY her out of DH's hands and put her in her own room in her own crib. She did GREAT!
Go for it - you won't regret it!

From day 1 Ryan was in his crib. With the monitor on, its like they are in the room with you, you can hear everything!

First day home from the hospital.
Besides the two cribs the nursery has a queen sized bed, we slept in their room.
Given the fact that I had the space I thought it would be easier for me to eventually move than them.
They are almost 3 months and the majority of nights we are back in our room.

We moved her from the bassinet in our room to the crib in her room at 4 weeks without any problems.

7-8 weeks old..she was waking herself up in her bassinet and she kept DH and I up at night cause of all the little baby noises.
She slept 12 hours in her crib when we put her in there and has been sleeping like that every since.

He will probably stay in our room until September. He will be just over four months then. The only reason we aren't moving him sooner is because his room doesn't have air conditioning and ours does (and our landlord is supposed to put screens on his windows too )
His bassinet is huge and he isn't, so that isn't really a problem.

Cailen is 10 weeks and no where near ready for his crib - he wont sleep lying down  but will sleep in his bouncy and swing (all night - as I have posted!!)

At about 4 weeks we tried it and she slept so much better in her crib then the bassinett..since then she has been in there everynight
