At what age do babies start eating those teething cookies?
I was just eating a sourdough pretzel and DD was STARING at me drooling and I suddenly remembered those baby cookies. She is 6 months old.

I think around 9 mths. DD didnt have any teeth til 12 mths though so I probably started these teething cookies later than some.

i gave it to DS around 7 months but he still was not very good at chewing at that point - so when the pieces would break off, he would choke on them.
now at 9 months he LOVES them and is very good at chewing the pieces.

I dont know if you consider htat finger food, but my ped just told me nothing like that until she has a good pincher grasp (first finger and thumb). Otherwise shes not ready.

my Dr allowed bagels and pretzle rods for teething at 5 months!!!
Really? Pretzel rods? Do you mean your ped or your DDs ped? B/w the salt on them and their ability to break, I have never heard of this.
My ped said no to bagels, she feels too big of chunks can come off. It's amazing the differences in what peds say.
According to Gerber, finger foods dont start until they start crawling I believe.

Yeah, I'd be very concerned about pretzel rods and I'm usually pretty liberal ...It really is amazing how peds differ !

We haven't started the cookies yet, we go to the ped. next week, so I will be asking then. But DS is crawling, and I supposed to be feeding him finger foods? I just started 2nd foods. He will be 6 months on the 30th.

Abby crawls and I have been trying to give her those cookies, biscuits, puffs and other types of finger food for at least 2 months now. She couldnt be less interested. I swear she ain't my kid.

we were young but a great eater and chewer maybe like 5 months? I loved the puff kind that melted in the mouth I felt it was safer that way and got DS used to more solid, harder foods.
