At what age will they know that " SANTA " has a different wrap......
you know on his gifts ????? than mummy and daddys ??
Or are all the gifts from " SANTA "
how does this work and how do you make them different from the others ??
im sitting here with wine in hand wrapping waaaaaaayyyy too many presents and already im carefully picking out different paper from " SANTA "
i know full well my almost 2 year old and 8 week old ( although very very smart i may add ) have no idea of the difference so im curious when does this all change

They have a tag that says "From Santa" on them.
I'm hoping they never notice the wrapping paper. We have a bunch we use but I do try to keep Santa's presents in different wrapping paper that they're using to wrap their gifts to us. They're 5 & 7 now.
Honestly, they're so excited about toys, I'm not sure they've noticed the wrapping paper short of ripping it off.

I am doing what my parents did when I was a kid. Santa was way toooo busy to wrap gifts so those gifts were just not wrapped with maybe a bow here and there. The only gifts that were wrapped were from my parents. I just did the same for DD---wrapped about 3 gifts and then she has about 8 non-wrapped gifts.

me too...santa just dunped them out of his sleigh straight fomr the workshop (all assembled of course, no boxes on big stuff)

Since I wrap tons of gifts for everyone else, the kids see the wrapping paper. I leave it out on the dining room table and tell the kids that we leave it there for Santa to use so he doesn't have to carry his own since there is no room on the sled with all their presents.  The gifts from Santa will have the tags that say from Santa and the gifts from us will say Mom and Dad.

I started last year when DD was 3 making sure the wrap was different...
I will continue this every year...
I KNOW she will notice this year, cause she was so thrilled to help me wrap gifts this year. She is very familiar with the paper!!
And...I was so lucky to find Disney princess wrapping paper (her all time favorite) so she will really believe it's from Santa!!!

you have about another 4-5 years.
When my kids caught on I said mommy leaves the paper for santa so he does not have to do alllllllllllllll the work.
It works uintil they start snooping.

When I was old enough to sit my mom down and tell her what I knew...she enlisted me to help for my sister. At around 4 years old we got separate paper that was hidden and only used on her gifts. She also printed labels that said from Santa because when I was younger I used to question why her handwritting was on the presents!
So that's what I'll do for Lucas. I'll get a few rolls that will only be used for his gifts from Santa. I printed labels from Shutterfly from Santa and will keep that up.

It's funny I was thinking this last night as I wrapped some "santa" gifts. And the DH said maybe we should coordinate with ILs & grandparents that write Santa on their gifts to make sure we all have the same wrapping paper. I told him that I though we were thinking too much about it & that G probably could not care less what his gifts are wrapped in
I am sure at some age though, we might have to reconsider that,.....

At DD's ages which is almost 3 I will do most of the presents from Santa and then a couple from mommy and daddy.

We buy wrapping paper together with the kids for Santa to magically wrap their gifts and for me to wrap gifts for Daddy, etc..

This year (DS is 3) I wrapped Santa gifts in different wrapping paper but I think I'm liking the idea of leaving paper out on the table for Santa to wrap his own!

I don't remember what age I was, but it wasn't the paper but the handwritting on the tag that gave it away!
I found it odd that Santa and my mom had the same handwritting  .

When we were kids my Mom always wrapped each of our gifts in different paper -- and it usually was something we were into so we knew whose gifts were whose.
Like mine were always wrapped in snowman or Disney paper, my sisiter in winnie the pooh or something very girly and my brother was whatever he was into that year (spiderman, ninja turtles etc)
I got DS Elmo paper for all of his gifts from Santa.
I think next year I am going to start getting "from santa" tags.

I bought seperate paper now.. and shes only 15 m, but shes loves playing with paper rolls.. and has been playing with santas paper since I got it.  I think we maybe a year before she really notices.
eta: my sister does seperate santa paper for all 3 kids, this way she doesnt have to use cards on gifts.. so the kids dont recognize her handwritting.

I've always wrapped "Santa" gifts in different paper and I had a self inking stamp made that says "Love Santa" for the tags. Mommy wraps gifts in gold or silver paper and santa wraps in red

All our kids gifts are from Santa. And we buy the wrapping paper for him though through the school fundraiser. Santa likes to support schools

I bought "Santa" paper already. DD is 2.
She saw it and got so excited about it because it has Santas and Reindeers all over it. She'll probably recognize it on Christmas but she won't make the connection yet, at least I hope not.
I will definitely do a better job at hiding it next year or I won't wrap Santa gifts at all.

My kids are "older" (3.5 and almost 7 years old).
I have been telling my older one the same story for years...since around his 3rd Christmas when he questioned me.
I tell the kids that Santa drops off the gifts UNWRAPPED reallllly late on Christmas Eve.
Then I wake up reaaallllllyyyy early and wrap them for him.
It's awesome. They never questioned me again, AND...they are so appreciative of me waking up so early just for them.
