not before 3... I think he may not be ready earlier, and we're delaying/spreading out immunizations and want him to be fully immunized prior to going to school.

I started Hayley at 2 years old (she LOVED it) and will do the same for Lindsay. She needed to be with kids her own age not just haning out w/me or my SIL every day.
She went back this year (3 year old program) and she loves it!!

Re: At what age will you put your child in preschool?
i sent my DD once a week when she turned 2...i know for some kids once a week its tough, sometimes they need 2 or 3 days to get used to it but DD was fine with only attendng once a week. this year she is in the 3 year old program going twice a week but i am thinking to send her 3 days because she loves it so much! i personally think its good to start young, it gets them used to a school setting, the direction of someone else other then mom and dad, and most important the interation with other kids at an early age. Our experience was great sending her so young. She learns alot and has fun!

Re: At what age will you put your child in preschool?
We did a two year old non-separation class. It was everything they would do in school but I was with him. I think it was good for him b/c it taught him how to be part of a classroom and interact with other kids. He was too young for the separation class. This year he is in the 3 year old program and he's doing really well.
