Re: At what point does being preggo become fun?

You want my version of pure honesty? It sucked the first trimester. Got better when I started to show. Now with just about 4 weeks left, it truly sucks. Nothing fun about it for me. Sorry about my brutal honesty but itis what it is. I try to visualize holding my little angel to get me through the tough times and yes, I know I am blessed, but I am not as resilient as I thought I would be. This is not easy on me one bit.
yeah, I agree with that completely. I felt in the first trimester... food and smell aversions, fatigue.... it got better at about 13-14 weeks... I felt fine from then until about week 30... At that point, I started really feeling the weight of the baby pulling on my belly. It makes it uncomfy to lean forward, bend over, roll over in bed, and transition from sitting to standing. Also the swelling and fatigue are ramping up quickly. I can see myself now (at 31.5 weeks) degrading daily..... I'm certain the weeks ahead will be MUCH more uncomfy.
However, I also feel my Scone moving around constantly, and he's developing quite a personality so there IS that benefit..... and I must focus on it becuase evenings and nights are quite uncomfy already

30 weeks and have loved every minute of it! I've been lucky though....I have not been sick at all.

I am 7 weeks today and I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Every night DH tells me that I look like I was hit by a truck. I have a cold so I know that is adding to my misery, but I just feel like poo. My m/s is out and about every day...at what point did you start to enjoy being pregnant?
I am in the same boat as you...I am 8 weeks. While I'm not vomiting, I've had a lot of nausea during the last 2 weeks. I keep waiting for that 2nd trimester to start, because everyone says it gets better...I can't wait to enjoy this, because I couldn't wait for it to happen.

Re: At what point does being preggo become fun?
Except for the morning and afternoon sickness for the first 15 weeks, I love being pregnant (so much so that I decided to do it again 9 months after having my first!)...I actually got a little sad last night that there is a slight possibility that I might not be pregnant again after this one!

Between the m/s, the acne, the exhaustion and all the worry.... I look amazing!
Hoping just to survive the 1st trimester!

Fun? Never for me. Not with either of my pregnancies. Delivery was a piece of cake compared to being pregnant.

Ditto!! First trimester was a little rocky with the fears of m/c, feeling tired and kinda icky but I loved the second trimester- felt totally normal. Going into the third trimester in the height of the summer has not been fun. I have good days and not so good days, but I'm still trying to count my blessings that I'm here at all!!
