Re: Atlantis Question-Bahamas

honestly, NO because that limits you to where you can eat and there are SO many great places there...We just got back from our cousins DW there in November and it was awesome (although a little windy).

Just a warning, the resturants and food are VERY VERY expensive. They give you a card (like a CC) and you swipe everything and it automatically charges to the room and then when you check out you pay.

Good Luck and HAVE A BLAST J- Don't forget to post pics when you get back:)Chat Icon

Re: Atlantis Question-Bahamas

Jeanine.. I'd get the meal plan. Food is crazy expensive out there. I was there during a cruise I took - stopped at the Atlantis , got a bottle of water & a bag of chips- I paid $9.50!! I didn't get a meal plan in Aruba, and although there were alot of restaurants to go to, we got sick out eating out eventually. I would get it just to have that security- even if you have the meal plan, you can still go out to eat.

How much more is it per person to add a meal plan to your trip???

I would get the gourmet meal plan if you will be on your own for a lot of meals. I don't know what the bride/groom have planned for meals. With the gourmet meal plan you get breakfast and dinner and pretty much any of the gourmet restaurants. They are $$$$$ otherwise IMO.

Absolutely Positively get the gourmet meal plan!!!
The food is a fortune!!!Chat Icon
With the gourmet meal plan, you can eat in pretty much all of the restaurants (the really good ones). It includes breakfast & dinner.
You don't need lunch b/c you'll probably stuff yourself like I did at breakfast.Chat Icon
You will save money in the long run.

Dh is a CPA & figured out the best way to save $$$ & this was it-LOL!!!Chat Icon

Let me know if you have any more questions about Atlantis- I was just there in October.Chat Icon
