August 26th *GTG - Western Suffolk - Directions
So it just occured to me maybe not EVERYONE knows where Tanner Park is.
Here are directions:
From the EAST
Sunrise Hwy West to Great Neck Road South (You know you are close when you pass Big Lots on Left)
Follow Great Neck Road until you can't go anymore and make a right onto Montauk Hwy Heading West.
Make your FIRST left onto (I think it's Baylawn or Bayview) follow all the way down until you can't go anymore and drive straight into Tanner Park.
We are meeting at the playground which is pretty central in the park. I plan on parking near the sprinkler park and walking over with Ryan in the stroller to the playground.
From the WEST
Sunrise Hwy East to Great Neck Road South
Follow Great Neck Road until you can't go anymore and make a right onto Montauk Hwy Heading West.
Make your FIRST left onto (I think it's Baylawn or Bayview) follow all the way down until you can't go anymore and drive straight into Tanner Park.

I don't even know where Babylon and Copaigue are.  IS Babylon a town or does it encompass many towns? Like, they call it the town of Brookhaven, but it is actually a lot of towns. I will figure out Long Island yet!

Babylon is a town and it also encompasses a lot of towns. So confusing!
There is a Babylon Village, North Babylon, and West Babylon.
But in the Town Of Babylon is Copiague, Lindenhurst, Deer Park, Wyandanch, Amityville, and I think a partnership of some sort with Dix Hills.
