August mommies - check in here!

Just wondering how everyone is doing? I am 32 weeks, and feeling like there is no more room left! My c-section has been scheduled for August 29th @ 7:30 am. 6 weeks and 5 days away, and my baby girls nursery has not even been started yet. Chat Icon

I know... I know... somehow this all snuck up on me. With my 1st baby, his room was done MONTHS before my due date. #2 shared a room with #1, so there was nothing to do.

I have a lot of clothes for her though Chat Icon I am getting nervous about this whole Chat Icon thing. I have 2 boys... I know boys... I feel like I am starting all over again!

My c-section is scheduled for Aug 27 at 12 noon. I can't wait. I have lttle appetite anymore cause I think I have no room for my stomache to expand. I feel huge already, so I wonder how I will survive 6 more weeks? My back is killing me too. I am really looking forward to meeting my second child, and getting her out of my belly.

I'm having a girl and my first was a boy so I had alot of shopping to do. The room, etc is still not ready. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed getting ready for this one.

I'm 34 weeks with our first...a Chat Icon

She's still breech, so at my next appointment (next week) if she hasn't turned they will probably schedule a c-section.

I've been okay - getting tired quickly and pretty uncomfy with my belly stretching and back hurting, but it will all be worth it in the end!!

I can't believe it's almost here!!

Re: August mommies - check in here!

I am 37 weeks and Chat Icon is breach. They are hoping he will turn on his own as there are some complications with having me under or giving me a c-section or an epidural. With 22 days until his due date, I am praying that he will make his appearance and I can have him naturally.

Oh I thought there would be no more room in here at 33 weeks, but at 37 weeks he is bigger now and OMG I feel HUGE.

I am 33 weeks now and have my c-section scheduled for 8/20-- I am so excited to meet my little Chat Icon ! Only 5 weeks and few days to go!

I hate carrying through the summer, I have no energy and am hot and cranky all the time. With my son I delivered in January and preferred that a million times more. But, I generally was very lucky with this pregnancy, no complications, no MS, nothing.. so I dont' like to complain.

I had my 36 wk appt yesterday. no progression, and he is measuring at 6lbs 13oz. Im tired and ready to have this baby. I will start all the "how to bring on labor" this weekend. I have a feeling he is staying in until 38-39 weeks.

I also had my 36 week appt yesterday and no progression. He said she likes it in her swimming pool. I don't get it I have had pre-term contractions twice and had to go to the hospital to have them stopped. So how is it now she doesn't want to come out! I am so done.............

Doing well here too. Also had my 36 weeker last night. I am just about 2cm but dr said doesn't mean much since it's the 2nd baby. I did go at 37 weeks last time so I am so curious what will happen this time. Trying to get so much done just in case....have lots and lots of little things I want to get done before this one comes. I was hoping little one stays put until August 1st...

Been having contractions all day today - do you think an internal can cause that? I have about 5-6 an hour but not painful...been drinking water like crazy just in case it was from that but I don't think so. I have been having BH since May but today seems like so much mroe than usual.

I cant believe we are almost there...
I'm 34 weeks and due 8/20 with our first...a Chat Icon .

I'm on "modified" bed rest bc at 32 weeks dr found that I was 90% effaced and 3.5 cm dilated. Thankfully there has been no change since then and I'm hoping our little boy decided to stay put a little longer.
We have everything ready for his arrival though...I'm getting so anxious!!!!

Re: August mommies - check in here!

Hi! I am 35 weeks (due 8/16) with my secondChat Icon . I feel good, but am definitely having a "crampy" type of feeling- not tightening like BH, but more contraction type feelings. The baby has been moving and squirming so much these past two days. I had my son at 38 weeks last time, so I am also curious to see when he makes his arrival!
I am running out to BRU today to take a final look around needed items. It was easy to switch my son's closets (washed all the items, moved older into his big boy room-just his clothes his furniture is coming next friday)

I had my 36 week appt today (due August 11th) and I'm 25% effaced but not dilated yet. It was weird hearing him say that my cervix is beginning to soften. I can't believe this is starting to happen!

Re: August mommies - check in here!

Hi! I am 36 weeks and 5 days now and due 8/5 with my first childChat Icon I had my 36 week appointment on Tuesday and the only sign that labor is coming is that my cervix was soft. But the Dr. said she was still very high and that I was not dilated at all. I've been starting to get a little uncomfortable here and there but I didn't have any MS or anything so I wont complain. My only other preggo symptom is that my ankles have been starting to swell on and off. I'm so excited for Chat Icon to make her arrival. I'd like her to stay put for at least two more weeks though.

Re: August mommies - check in here!

I am 36 weeks and cannot wait for this to be OVER! I have a hard time sleeping because she moves so much and seems to find comfort on my right side. I also feel lots of pressure down there and am sick of waking up in the middle of the night to pee 3 or 4 times.

Don't get me wrong, while I can't wait to have my body back, I am absolutely terrified!!! This isn't my first child, but seeing as how it's been so long it sure as heck feels that way.

I am also going to start going weekly to the doctor. She weighed in yesterday at 5lbs 6oz..so let's see what it is next week. I think I may start doing the things to bring on labor as well..

Re: August mommies - check in here!

I'm due 8/30, but with every appt they tell me I might be early. I have a baby elephant inside me, measuring 6 pounds now. I have my next sono on 7/24 and they might officially schedule a c-section because they said he won't fit through my birth canal. Chat Icon

I am 29 weeks 2 days and we are striving for 35.5 weeks so August 27th approximately. So 6 weeks 3 days left-seems like forever since I am in the hospital tho Chat Icon Baby has been having the hiccups and its cute. She has also been shifting her weight and boy does it hurt.
