avoiding dairy?
I had my first prenatal visit yesterday with my RE. She handed me a book to read about dos and don'ts during pregnancy.
Under the Food Safety section it says
"pregnant women should avoid unpasteurized cheeses, dairy products, and juices."
with the exception of the unpasteurized cheese I have never heard this before! Any insight?

It is nearly impossible to find unpasteurized anything in the United States.
Anything you buy in the supermarket or from a restaurant will be pasteurized
They are talking about like raw milk from a farm etc...
Anything mass market is fine.

Oh.. that makes sense. I thought it meant all dairy products and juices...
