Awkward situation. WWYD?
I am in between accommodation right now. I have left the barracks because my apartment contract was finished and I have the cats and now live with a colleague.
I am waiting on the movers to deliver my stuff to the new apartment (I choose the city btw instead of the small town). This should happen in 2 weeks.
It’s been a bit of struggle because of the timing, but this colleague was a godsend because they had an empty apartment and agreed to rent it out for 150 for week (prices are really cheap here). I have asked her three times how I should pay her (by cash or bank transfer). She hasn’t answered me yet.
When should I ask again?

How long have you been living in this apartment? Did you agree to pay week by week? I think I’d just get the cash for the time that I’ve been there so far and continue to give cash each week (if weekly payment was what was agreed upon).

I agree with PP. Just get the cash, put it in an envelope and give it to her.

I agree. When you give it to her, you can ask if she prefers a bank transfer for future payments. Otherwise, cash alway works!
