Awkward work situation
Yesterday I was at our other location for the day and a guy that works there basically told me he had a crush on me in the most awkward conversation I ever had. I was feeling !
Today at our work picnic, I saw him again and he was spotted by my coworkers taking pictures of me I told him to stop, but I caught him taking a few more after that.
What a psycho!!!!!

Re: Awkward work situation
Actually, someone from HR was there when I told him to cut it out. My coworkers thought it was so funny.
I am wondering what is he going to do with these pictures

Re: Awkward work situation
Even more reason to find a new job!
DH has a casual "friend" who had a crush on my friend.. at our wedding he took pictures of her/with her.
When DH went to his Apt. once he said that the pictures he took at our wedding were in frames in his Apt. It was the ONLY pictures he had in the whole place... He had only met her a few times before and she told him she wasn't interested!!! I wonder if when people come over and see her pictures in the frames he tells them thats his GF or something?

Re: Awkward work situation
I'm thinking that he deserves to have his camera physically & forefully taken away from him. If it happens again, I think you have every right to go Sean Penn on him.

Re: Awkward work situation
That is probably considered harassment. You could report him. Sorry you have to deal with that on top of not liking you job.

Re: Awkward work situation
I would definitely file a report with HR.
DH had a situation, years ago (late 90's), with a co-worker, at another job during his first marriage. She was writing him notes about how she felt about him and if I remember correctly, even approached him a few times. According to him, this woman definitely had "a screw loose". HR stepped it, she stopped, he eventually left that job for other reasons.
Fast forward to a year or two ago, DH and I are attending Sunday services at the Unitarian Fellowship. All of a sudden he leans over and says, we have to go, right now!!! I'm thinking, "huh?" and follow him outside. He seems a bit shaken, begins to drive off and it's only when he gets a few miles away does he tell me she was there
We saw her once since and she approached him I boldly stepped between them and said "Hi, I'm his WIFE. And you would be? And how do you know him? What brings you here?" In rapid fire succession... we haven't seen her since.
Definitely report him to HR.

Re: Awkward work situation
I would definitely tell him that if he does this again that you will report him to HR. If that doesn't stop the situation, you should introduce him to your husband and, if that doesn't work, I would file a complaint with the police and have a restraining order served. In this day and age, this is not something that should be taken lightly. Jerk!

Re: Awkward work situation
uh oh! that sounds dangerous! I would speak to your boss about this and ask for his/her advice. I would probably go to HR as well. you have to cover yourself ... but hopefully nothing more will happen.

Re: Awkward work situation
WHOA. That's borderline harassment and god knows where this guy will take it if he has the guts to take pics of you at the picnic in front of everyone. I would talk to HR right now, and put it in writing. You need to nip this one in the bud before it gets out of hand...
