b/c i dont share anymore...along with a vent...

well, here is a pic from today of me and hannah! yeah...now i have two of us together from the last 2 months... stinx being the picture taker... anyway, i really forget how many weeks i am in the pregnancy! how horrible am i? the first pregnancy i couldve told u the week and the day! now, i THINK i am going to be 23 week this wednesday, but maybe its 24? (melissa, help me out? i know u are a week behind me right??) ugh! anyway, im a terrible 2nd time mom...

oh, so my vent...why do i have to hear from IL side (particularly MIL) how much DD looks like HER children? yes, thats what she says- the other nite- "doesnt hannah look just like my children?" okay, not for nothing, but more often than not are people saying she is really starting to look more like me, which i dont care about, but damn, she def doesnt look EXACTLY like greg or HER children? and even when, in front of her, someone like greg grandparents say "oh, i see a lot of summer in her now" she says "well, not really"...i mean, cmon?! she gives no credit to me or my side of hannah, u know? why is that? if hannah is smart, it bc of their genes, things like that, u know? i think hannah is a combo, if u ask me...no, i dont think she look exactly like me, but heck, u couldnt say "there is no way she is your daughter"...k, sorry, vent over...

anyway else vow they will never be like their MILs when their children grow up and get married???

Summer you look great and have the preggo glow!! Hannah looks so much like you! My mom always says Julia looks so much like me in front of Todd all the time, but everyone else knows shes more him then me--lol It doesn't bother me at all, I just laugh and know she's my DD!

lol- i knew i could count on u to tell me how far along i was...without me going back to the calendar and counting...ure better than me at keeping track!

(ps- i think julia look a lot like u- the last couple pics ove seen of u both together she def has u! esp in the xmas santa one u posted- i think that was the one...)

my son is def a combo of me and my DH, but is fair with light hair and eyes like me. So my MIL always complains how he doesn't look like her (she has dark hair and dark eyes) and sounds so defeated when she says oh he looks just like you When i was pregnant, she made a comment that HER luck, the baby will prob have blue eyes and light hair and i was like HELLO, i have blue eyes and light hair, so yea theirs a good chance he will too truthfully, shes really harmless and a good women, it just really bothers her for some reason that he doesn't look like her
PS- you look great and i def see that you and your daughter look alike!

I'm sorry, but if she had dark hair I'd think she looked alot like you. I just think it is the light hair that throws you off. She is DEF your daughter!

I was going to say that your DD looks just like ME!

I mean, she has two eyes, a nose, a mouth.... just like I do!!!!

People will see any similarity or difference that they want to see. Even if your DD was adopted from a country that your DH doesn't have any similarity too, your MIL would STILL find physical similarities to her side of the family....
