I totally see this with Logan.
There are certain people he lights right up with and some he holds back and considers before he will give a smile.

Absolutely! I think babies are the best judge of character. They can "sense" things about people that I think we cannot. There are some people DS will go right too and others he will shy away from and will just stare at until he gets a feel for them.
