Baby aspirin
I had a chemical last month, and I'm now 2DPO. I've read up on how some girls have taken baby aspirin to avoid clotting in the uterus. Is this something I could take without talking to my doctor? Just trying to cover all bases this time around. Thanks!

Re: Baby aspirin
Talk to your doctor-- I take it, because of something they found when my bloodwork came back.

Re: Baby aspirin
I can only tell you what I did...
Back in Dec., I had a m/c. In Feb. I was preggo again. I had read similar articles online about taking baby aspirin to avoid a m/c. After getting my BFP, I decided to take matters into my own hands and started taking one 81mg aspirin [St. Joseph's] per day. At my first OB appt. I told the doc about what I read online and that I had been taking one baby aspirin daily. He didn't look too pleased that I was medicating myself, but he said, "Ok. Now you are going to take one baby aspirin every day until you hit 36 weeks. If you stop now, and something goes wrong with the pregnancy, we won't know if it's due to you stopping the aspirin."
I just stopped the aspirin on Tuesday when I hit 36 weeks. Who knows if it helped this pregnancy to stick or not, but it made me feel better taking one everyday. I would probably call your OB tomorrow and relay the info that you've read online and see what he/she says. Good luck!!
