Baby Bargains Book... wait for 2011 version?
I want to get the Baby Bargains Book, but the 2011 version isn't out until April.
I'm due in August and can't wait to start registering (just because it's like FREE shopping!!), but I know there's a wealth of knowledge in the book so I want to use it as my companion.
Do you think I can just buy the current version, which was published in April 2009 - or do you think it's worth waiting until the 2011 one comes out for more current information?

It's up to you but I'd just wait for the newer one since it's 4 months before your due date. I'm due in 12 weeks and still haven't registered!

I have the 8th addition which is from 2010. I just got it, I am due in July. We are going to register in the next two weeks. Its great.

Ohh I didn't know a new one was coming out and I just bought it last week from B&N. I wonder if I can return it I won't need it for a while.

ahhh I was hoping it would be out sooner... just a month sooner would make a huge difference for me.
my 2 SIL's are throwing my baby shower and they said I have to be registered by April 1st. It's the least I can do... listen to them since they are throwing me a shower.

I'm due in July and got the 2009 one. I'm planning on registering in March, and then I'm planning on getting the April book and maybe making some adjustments depending on what's changed.

I bought that one too. Due in Sept, so I have time. LOVE the book!!! Since you don't need it now, you can wait, but I'm sure either is fine.

I would get the 2009 one out of the library and then buy the newer version when it comes out.

I am also due in Aug, but I'm having twins so the dr says I will prob go in late July. I am DYING to register.. and I have the same question.. I haven't bought the 2009 one because I keep saying maybe I should wait?
