Baby bottle scare
This was in the Post. I posted this in the Dr. Brown's thread, but I figured I'd post it here, too. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not throwing anything away. It doesn't sound like they know too much. Anyway, if you don't use a plastic bottle, what are you supposed to use? Wouldn't this chemical be found in soo many plastic things?? I don't know, maybe it's just me.
February 28, 2007 -- The feds plan to investigate whether exposure to a chemical commonly found in plastic products such as baby bottles and food containers causes health problems, officials said yesterday.
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences will convene a panel of 15 scientists next week to review whether exposure to Bisphenol A causes developmental or reproductive harm.
In a separate study, Los Angeles-based Environment California said tests on five brands of baby bottles - Avent, Dr. Brown's, Evenflo, Gerber and Playtex - were found to leach enough of the chemical to harm animals

Re: Baby bottle scare
I think that chemical is in everything plastic, i remember awhile ago there was a scare like this about plastic containers like rubbermaid, tupperware, gladware, etc. that if you heated them in the micro the plastic could leach into the food.
I'm not throwing away my advents just yet, if i ever do. I slightly warm her bottles in the microwave.
All these studies, i take em with a grain of salt...
