baby boy finally made his debut!
4 days post due and ended up not needing the induction!
yesterday, after i had asked for opinions on girls' names, DH, the kids and i drove to the city to pick up my brother who was in town for work, at his hotel.
i started having contractions and asked DH to drop me off at the hospital first b/c the contractions were getting faster and closer together. then DH went to get my brother and they all came to the hospital. my brother watched my other two kids while i labored. it only took 3.5 hrs. for baby to come out after contractions started! got my epidural just in the nick of time at 10 cm dilated. they initally said, "oh, you won't need it-by the time it kicks in and works, you'll be pushing! well, i wanted that epidural (!) and got it! luckily the anesthesiologist got it in with no problems on the first try.
10 pushes or so and baby was out.
his name is miles greyson and he looks just like my dd! i cannot believe i have three children now! i'll probably be discharged from the hospital today after a 24 hr. stay.
baby and i are doing well! it's been fun but i am D-O-N-E!!!
good luck to all the girls on here who still have to go! it really is an amazing experience each and every time!!!
