baby "dropping" (lightening) EDIT: now i know why she hasn't dropped...
i am a little over 37 weeks and the baby hasn't dropped yet...i don't think anyways.... i would know when she does right? and if she hasn't does that mean i still have a long way to go???
ETA: just had an appt. today. she hasn't dropped bc she is complete breech. i really hope i can get her to turn. i am trying all the little 'tricks' at home, and also trying acupuncture. i'm a little nervous about the external version, i am not sure i want to do that
she turns for me!!

Yup. I feel like my pubic bones are bruised. And I have a little more room under my chest. I can see the top of my rib cage again.
I thought I would drop some more, but my doc told me the baby's head is already as low as it gets.

Re: baby "dropping" (lightening)
I asked the doctor today if the baby has dropped and he said she has a little, but she's curled up super tight in a little ball. I never have felt her up in my ribs, but definitely feel her head against my bladder a lot.
But the baby can drop a few hours before you go into labor, or a few weeks. So it's not necessarily indicative of progress. I mean, it's not not progress if it happens early, but it doesn't mean the baby's about to pop out either.
You'll get there!!! We all will!!!
