Baby falling asleep during feedings
Daniel is 8 days old and I am formula feeding. It seems like within the last 3 days he keeps falling asleep during his feedings making nightime feedings very long. I have been changing his diaper half way through the feeding to wake him up which works but the feedings still take forever. Any advice or is this a normal part of mommy-hood?

it's normal. I used to pass my dd off to dh to have him wake her up
he would undress her down to the diaper,ticker her feet and just all around annoy her until she woke up crying

we do the same thing. i let dd drink as much as she can before burping her. if the burping doesn't wake her up I take her clothes off and change her diaper. it gets better as they get a little bigger. then first week or so all they want to do is sleep.
