Either she is not ready for children whatsover OR should never have children to begin with!
Not to mention on this site alone there are so many girls who would give anything for a child! SHE should be ashamed!!

She has discussed aborting the baby. Sad to think that she would resort to that procedure since this is her first baby too! I can understand if she has only one shot at it, but she's still young so can try for a son in the future...
Unfortunately, in this country, we have made abortion so available to everyone and when as a society, we have no regard for human life at all---- I am not surprised by this reaction as disgusting as it is.
So many Americans want the newest and the brightest and the best.... cars, houses, clothes, etc. Sadly, babies are becoming the latest commodity and that's why people do all this genetic testing-- we're moving into technology that will give you the gender you want with the eye color and hair color you want.... CRAZINESS!
the majority of people that have abortions are the ones that are not happy with the gender, "it's inconveinent", there might be something wrong with the baby... it's less than 1% of abortions are performed to save the life of the mother or because the baby would die anyway.
i don't see why everyone is surprised at her reaction. sadly, it's more common than we would ever want to believe.
i pray for that baby... and for that mother that she will have a change of heart and see what a beautiful gift she has been given.

Beautifully stated.
People would think this is shocking....but our society is headed towards this very thing...with science advancing (and science is a wonderful thing in most cases!!) there will be a time when the gender can be determined very early on for everyday people (not just ones that pay a ton to know asap)..and this will be more commonplace than people think or want to believe...
