Baby measuring a few weeks ahead
Should I be worried? Does this mean I might go early? So funny because with DS I gained SOOOOO much weight. I went off my Adderall XR meds for ADD which make you have no appetite at all. I was pretty thin then when I found out I was pregnant with DS#1 I stopped taking the meds immediately. I gained an insane amount of weight because I had a normal appetite back AND a preggo appetite lol. I never went back on the meds after having DS because I am breastfeeding and knew we were going to have #2 close to #1 so I wanted to wait until I was all done with babies and nursing to get losing weight and go back on my meds but I have had no appetite this whole pregnancy because I have gallstones and they are making me sick to my stomach and make me feel full all the time. I have hardly gained any weight but I went to get a sono at 26 weeks and they told me the baby was measuring 2lbs 8ozs, all she said was a few weeks ahead. When I turned 27 weeks I read the blurb about it on Babycenter and it said my baby should be approaching 2lbs at 27 weeks and I'm over that and was 2 or so weeks prior. DS was born the day after his due date, induced, at 8lbs 4ozs and his big head couldn't fit down the birth canal so I'm worried that this baby will be huge, even bigger than DS.
Do you think I will go early because of this?

Re: Baby measuring a few weeks ahead
DS measured big throughout my entire pregnancy as well. Doc told me that either I ovulated earlier than I thought and I was further along, or I was just carrying a big baby. DS was born just over 1 week early and was on the bigger side (21 inches and nearly 9 pounds). So who knows, you may go a little early as well. I would mention it to your doctor, just to put your mind at ease.

Re: Baby measuring a few weeks ahead
Both my Ds's were ahead 1 week-10 days fro about 20 weeks on. DS1 Was born on his EDD by schedule cs...I had NO contractions at that point. He was 9lbs14oz and 22.5 inches
DS2 was born 1 week early also via scheduled cs. I did have contractions with him at that point but they werent regular. he was 9lbs8oz and 21.5inches.
In my case it was not an indicator of when I ovulated or anything, I just have big babies!
