baby shower gift question
im looking for something really touching/personal to give as a gift. i want to give money/gift card, plus a gift...but something not from the registry...more of a keepsake.
any ideas?

thanks! her maid of honor is actually doing that for her. but i think i found something i love. its the elephant "piggy bank" from tiffany. its a keepsake and she loves elephants

I got all of my nieces and nephews a bank from Tiffany as a present for their birth. They were a huge hit with the parents, too. Good choice!

I love the Tiffany silver keepsake collection -- the little rattles and stuff like that. They are so pretty engraved. I would get something from there like Kara said - great suggestion!

something personalized for the walls or personalized blanket, photo shoot is an awesome idea.
have to be honest, I hated getting knick knack stuff no matter how expensive or personalized it was.

We got FOUR personalized piggy banks for my son when he was born. One of which was the Tiffany bunny. I did not realize how short the return policy was for Tiffany's other wise I would have returned it. It just sits in his room. We use the other 3 personalized ones.
If you want something special - get them a gift certificate to the picture people or something like that so the new mom can have professional photos taken of her new DC. That in my mind would really be memorable and different.
