Re: Baby sign language class...
Never did classes but I highly recommend, "Baby Singing Time Vol I and II".
My DC's watched it from about 6 months on... it took a while but at about 12 months all of a sudden DDD signed "milk" one day. At first, I wasn't sure if she knew what she was doing so I asked her if she was thirsty and sure enough she did the sign
The videos are really easy and the songs are infectious... sometimes I pick up the phone and it's DH singing... "Wash, wash, scrub, scrub, I use soap and water... I wash my hands" Or, "These are the pets I love, bird, bird, bird, bird.... tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet

Gymboree is offering the class I think. I do some sign with Ale at home, but we haven't taken any "formal" classes.

Re: Baby sign language class...
My college roomate recommended DVD's. She promised me they really work.
Well.... within 3 days my girls were fluent in all the signs. I never even watched it with them. They were signing Mommy, Daddy, cereal, more, all done, shoes, sock, milk help.... I still am in shock by it.

Re: Baby sign language class...
I have a friend who is a sign language interpreter, so she will teach us. She knows someone who teaches classes and if you want more info fm me and I'll ask her where and when. She won't do it because it would go against an unspoken code of ethics because another interpreter already does such classes.
