Baby Wipes Warmer

I have heard that they dry out the wipes. Is that true? Did anyone have a warmer that did not dry out the wipes?

Re: Baby Wipes Warmer

IMHO, it is unnecessary and a fire hazard...just rub the wipe between your hands if they are cold

I never did this and dd was fine

Re: Baby Wipes Warmer

yes, it's true. About a half inch of wipes dry out in mine so I stopped using it. I didn't find that it got the wipes all that warm.

Re: Baby Wipes Warmer

I never used one. A quick rub between your hands is enough to take the chill off, plus what happens if you're out and about and need to do a diaper change?

Re: Baby Wipes Warmer

I've used my warmer since the beginning and I love it. The wipes don't dry out from my experience but then again my wipes don't sit too long. I use them for everything. Actually, the Pampers wipes did dry out now that I think about it. I only used that brand once. Now I use Huggies or Costco and they are fine.

I use one and I LOVE it! I think its the best thing, I'm sure there is nothing worse then having a cold wipe on your bum.

My wipes are never dried out, but you do have to make sure that the pillow that is with the wipe warmer is always wet or else the wipes don't stay warm.

I have nothing but good things to say about mine. Chat Icon

Mine didn't come with a pollow ... Chat Icon

But we have it and I love it. I find it is actually always wetter than I expect. I use Target wipes, maybe that is why ... they are really plush and wet ...

SAme here.

I don't like to leave anything that stays warm plugged in due to a fire hazard. We had two house fires in my extended family due to applicances left plugged in.
