Babymoon ideas that are close by

DH and I dont want to go on a huge trip
We were thinking a weekend upstate, in Maine, Martha's Vineyard, etc

Any suggestions?

i love martha's vineyard b/c there is so much to do, but DH went to old saybrook inn in CT for our anniversary a year or two ago and had SUCH a good time. it's a gorgeous hotel, close to the casino (mohegan sun) where we ate dinner and hung out, and the brunch was really good too. amazing spa services as well!!

you can also try the poconos, or boston - one of my favorite cities!

ETA: i forgot about mohonk mountain - expensive but beautiful.

That said, I say Nantucket, or even Cape Cod. Provincetown is adorable. Super gay, and fabulous.
Or Newport, RI. Or Boston.

I went there for a business trip, and took DH along... we stayed an extra couple days. That city is fun.... and its little italy is very cute.

Saratoga is a wonderful place to walk around and relax for a weekend. Also, Mystic, CT and the Borgata in Atlantic City! I had great weekend getaways at all of these places!
