Babysitter rates?
Ladies, if you don't mind sharing, what is the going rate for babysitters? I have one child, 10 months old. The babysitter we are going to try out is in college. We didn't discuss $$ with her yet, but I need an idea to go from! TIA!

Re: Babysitter rates?
The babysitter we use recently graduated from college and is looking for a teaching job. She is so good and I don't want to lose her so I think I pay her a little more $ than some people. When the boys are awake, I pay her $15/hour but after they're in bed its $10/hour and then usually I'll "round up" the amount at the end of the night when it comes to paying her.
