Mine was in downtown Manhattan -- we were doing our part to help revitalize the area in 2002. Chat Icon

Where are you looking to go?? There's a FANTASTIC bar/dance place on the upper east side called Sessions 73 (73rd & First). They usually have a band but even their DJ's have been good. It's not too night clubby with a regular mixed age crowd. Chat Icon

Re: bachelorette parties

We got picked up by limo at my house (just my 3 bridesmaids, MOH, 2 cousins, and 2 best friends) and had a spa party at TCarlton spa in St. James...my sister had it catered with wine, champage, cake, and flowers....we all had treatments/mani/pedi...then we took the limo to my favorite French restaurant, Bistro Citron in Roslyn. It was so fun...and we had such a great night!

Weekend out east...dinner Friday night with my MOH & a bridesmaid. About 8 of us took a van tour of some wineries on Saturday...and on Sunday, 4 of us hit a beach in the Hamptons. Tons-o-fun!

Re: bachelorette parties

My friends rented a limo (pre-party) at my friends house first w/ some cocktails and some food and then they decorated me, then the limo came.

Went to Carmines (the one on 90th) to eat, then took some pics on some side streets (which was pretty funny) and then to CroBar. Then went back to our friends house and we all slept over.

Re: bachelorette parties

My brother and fsil have a bridal party of 18..yes I said 18!
They want to spend 1/2 the day together ALL together including friends not in the wedding party. We are all (prob. about 25 of us or more) going bowling.
Then the guys are going on their own to dinner (HootersChat Icon ) and the ladies are going to dinner as well...(fsil has not decided where yet).
After dinner we are all coming back to my house and enjoying the patio, radio, drinks and cake.Chat Icon
My brother and fsil are not into the whole "strip club" scene or clubs in general. We did the same thing last year for my cousin's bachelorette and it worked out great!
My BMs took me to a nice quiet brunch and I enjoyed every minute of it.Chat Icon
