Back From Sono & Baby is Measuring Small
Has this happened to anyone? My second pregnancy and none of this has happened with my first. I just don't get it. I just started my 29th week and baby is measuring small and the tummy is measuring small. Heartbeat and fluids look good, but, they want to monitor me more frequently.
I just want a healthy baby.
This pregnancy has been a roller coaster. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, but, I just want more "good news" sonos.
Please, if you can spare some prayers that the baby is healthy, I'd greatly appreciate it! Im not giving up! I have faith that all will be OK. I won't lie either, Im nervous and I'm scared.

Re: Back From Sono & Baby is Measuring Small
Sono's can be off, and your date may be off a little bit. If the dr hasn't given you a specific reason to be worried I would try not to stress too much now, it's not good for you or the baby. Hang in there.

I'm sorry you are going through this. Did the doctor say what that might mean? I hope it is nothing, but that maybe you'll just have a smaller sized, yet perfectly healthy baby.

Re: Back From Sono & Baby is Measuring Small
Dawn, it happened to me with Christopher.
He was measuring at 29 weeks when I was 32 weeks and my doctor was concerned about IUGR and I FREAKED. Waiting for my growth sono was TERRIBLE.
But...I had to wait 2 weeks for the sono and he kind of caught up in those two weeks, he was still smaller (less than 4lbs at 35 weeks) but the concern went away.
I am sure the same thing will happen with you guys, the baby probably has to "catch up" a little bit

OMGosh Kate, TY so much for sharing this! I just looked on a pregnancy site and the baby is now supposed to be around 2.5lbs...Im measuring at 2lbs 1oz. I am still so nervous. I go back in a week. Im glad they want to monitor it, but, Its still so scary.
My level 2 came back "normal" BUT with a marker on the heart, which, they said dont worry about, but, of course after today, Im worried about everything.

My ds measured small and had the marker on his heart. I also had trouble keeping my fluid up. He was born 6lbs 6.5oz at 38 weeks. He was small but completely healthy. He is a healthy 15month old. Still a little small but hey it makes it easier to carry him when he doesn't want to walk.

Oh Dawn! I wish I could say not to overanalyze everything, but you still will. I hope all of this is just a mistaken tech and nothing.
