Backsplash Help
Here is the layout and everything I picked so far (minus the hood - I want to have either one of those made but it's hard to decide which one)
I originally wanted a gray w white backsplash but since picking the counter top and realizing I also need to bring up my walnut colored floors - I need something that has some of that color in it.
The counter top has some sea glass looking specs in it as well. It's LG ARIA QUARTZ
I need some ideas on a backsplash.
Also, if anyone can find me a hood that looks similar to these that can be purchased as is, that would be awesome too. As it is, I will have to buy a basic hood, have it embellished and then faux metallic painted. It's turning into a big project and I don't need the stress. But a regular metal hood that I originally liked, I haven't found for less then $5k. The one I REALLY wanted was $15k

Yea. The off white is the kitchen upper and lower. The dark one is the island

Backsplash Help
I'd do glass subway tiles. They come in a variety of colors, so you could choose what you like. We have a blue-gray color.

Re: Backsplash Help
I would do a simple white backsplash to highlight the gorgeous pattern in the countertop. To bring in the walnut color, add in a subtle detail to the backsplash, like an accent tile or a glass tile border. Use walnut colored wood accessories, like a utensil holder, fruit bowls.

Re: Backsplash Help
you can also add color to the backsplash by using a darker grout.
here is an example:

Re: Backsplash Help
These are great ideas! Thank you. I love the use of wood bowls and such as accent pieces on counter top to bring up the floors! GENIUS!!
Range hood isn't happening. Long story. Kinda pissed
Gonna do something more basic but it'll work out. Making it the color of island to break up kitchen a bit. I put together a quick/Rough layout using the sketch from the cabinet place. I threw any backsplash in just to get an idea of the Range Hood
